My husband and I had a fabulous time at John&Jess' show in LA end of July. After listening to the RD show for over a year (each Sunday AM - JAZZ.fm), we were so excited to see you both in person. Great show, great band and many loyal listeners to ...

Just finished listening to the episode with Charles Osgood as your guest.
I almost felt like a "peeping Tom" or like someone who happened to walk into the wrong apartment.... and was given a warm welcome in spite of it all.
And who would have ever guessed that Mr. Osgood is such a wonderful singer and pianist? I have not owned a TV set in 9 years, now I almost feel like getting one.
You guys are just made for radio, but I fear that soon you'll be discovered by too many greedy people. Will you still be as good as you are now?
And, Jessica: please where can I find that record of which you only sold two copies? I'd love to buy the third.
Keep up the great work, and thank you.

Just a note to let you know that your show has been quite inspirational ...again. Like you and your beautiful wife,my beautiful wife and I watched "White Christmas", one of our all time favorite movies (second to maybe Singing In The Rain ... boy there's some choice tunes in that film), numerous time over the Christmas season. One of our favorite scenes from the movie is the tune/dance scene "The Best Things Happen While You Dance". After hearing your play of Kurt Elling's take on the tune I was compelled to explore the tune again and just finished charting a fingerstyle jazz arrangement of it. Your show has been an inspiration, by playing some of the seldom addressed tunes in the Great American Songbook, to my adding a number of tunes to our repertoire. In addition to this wonderful tune, in recent months, I've added arrangements of "Steppin' Out With My Baby", "Happy As The Day Is Long" among others to our repertoire. Thank you for opening the door, and my memory, to some of the uncommonly played tunes from the Songbook. Always a pleasure, and now I realize an inspiration, to listen to your show.
Thank you and Jessica for a job very well done

Just wanted to send a note that your daddy's birthday did not go unnoticed. Was perusing the web for musical ideas and noted that Bucky's birthday was today (I guess yesterday as I glance at the clock). He has long been an influence and an inspiration to my own playing. If you would thank him for me. I have a great solo version of "Send In The Clowns" he did on an album with Zoot playing right now. I'll also be uploading a video to the Radio Deluxe site of Bucky and Howard Alden doing "Cherokee". I love Howard's playing, but I have to say that your daddy takes him to school with that wonderful chord solo. Thanks for carrying on a grand tradition of music and making it new for an entire new generation of music lovers.

Thanks for a great APRIL WITH HARRY show this weekend. Especially enjoyed the Steve Goodman tune "A Dying Cub Fan's Last Request". Being a die hard baseball fan (after all there are two things that are truly all-American, those being jazz and baseball) and seeing that the owner, Jim Nardi, of the music store, Uptown Music, that I have taught guitar at for 20 years was born and raised in Chicago and continues to be die hard Cubbies fan. Some how I missed Mr. Goodman's tune over the years but your playing of it has compelled me to learn it to play for Jim (I'm a jazz player and haven't done a "talking blues" in over 30 years but this should be loads of fun) . Jim and I share season tickets for our local single A minor league team, the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, who have had the best winning percentage in professional baseball for the last two years running. If you are ever out in Oregon for a period I would love to introduce you to our Volcanoes, the seats are 4 rows up from the 3rd base dugout and we are able to see the action much better than the umps ... which we let them know constantly. A question that you may be able to answer, considering your consummate knowledge of Nat Cole's work. My wife heard a Nat King Cole tune some years ago that had a baseball theme, that she loved (despite being no great fan of the game) and she/I have not been able to locate/identify the tune since. If you could identify the tune we would certainly appreciate it. Thanks for the great work that you and Jessica do.
Sincerely
Doc (and Ardy) Fleetwood

Mr. Pizzarelli
Just wanted to thank you for instigating this "community". It's really a delight to have a musicsite/social network that reflects/shares our tastes in music. It's great not having to wade through the "death metal" postings on other sites to find the occasional jazz head. My wife and I enjoy Jessica and your weekly musical rides immensely and had the pleasure of enjoying Mr. Cole and you this last year here in Oregon. Hope to see you live sometime soon..until them we'll continue to enjoy Radio Deluxe.

Hi John!

Do you wanna see my acoustic 7 strings guitar built by the luthier from my area Mark Andrew Tremblay? This luthier use the Benedetto technics since 12-15 years. Now, for my acoustic guitar, a "receipt" including 3 guitars construction technic was used. Benedetto for the structure of the neck, Guild for the body and Martin for the brassing.

Now, I've a question for you, only for my curiosity: Why have you from Benedetto guitar to Moll guitar?

Thank you for taking the time to read me.

Take care of you and yours,

Regards,

Denis.
