Denise Brigham Chicago Jazz Magazine Reviews HOTEL LAFAYETTE

Chicago Jazz Magazine just hit the news stands with their latest issue and gave HOTEL LAFAYETTE a glowing review. The review is too long to put in a blog but here are some pull quotes: "This impressive disc features a seventy-piece orchestra, most of whom were part of the show Wicked. thejazzmonger Hotel Lafayette by Denise Brigham - This is a great record!

Love the song selection, the orchestration and production values. Love your voice. Wow! Of course the words husky, and smokey, come to mind. But also 'titillating.' Your sound is very provocative. Live, in a small venue, I bet you would be hard to handle. Played on good equipment, with really crisp sound, this album is really top drawer. Congratulations! I put up a small review on cdbaby. (Don't you love the folks at cdbaby?). Kudos for taking on 'The Cincinnati Kid.' I have always been a fan… Continue
