Howz about a themed program all about great jazz used AS themes from movies and TV?
Off the top of my head you had such great jazz pieces from TV such as Peter Gunn, Burke's Law, M Squad, Mr. Broadway (Brubeck)....
You could use jazz artists doing the actual themes or covers (e.g. Count Basie Plays James Bond) of movie and TV show music.

I'd have to agree with that. Soundtracks and compilations are one of my favorite categories of music because it allows the artist to expand themselves and gives you the pleasure of experiencing it.
